All-Purpose™ Pad
All-Purpose is our thinnest pad, at 0.10 inch. A needled polyester top over a washable, embossed rubber back keeps your rug from slipping and bunching without lifting it off the floor. Made in the USA.
Best for
- Thin rugs, runners and small mats
- Doorways and under furniture, where a thicker pad would get in the way
- Rugs over carpet
Works on
Hardwood, laminate, vinyl and LVP, tile and stone, and carpet. Also safe over radiant heated floors. Put the fiber side up on hard floors, and fiber side down on carpet. Indoor use only.
What it is made of
19 oz per square yard in total: a 9 oz singed, needled polyester face over a washable embossed rubber backing.
Size and trimming
Choose your rug size and we cut the pad 3 inches smaller in each direction before it ships, so it sits an inch and a half in from every edge. Not sure which size? See our size guide.
